150.05 PUBLIC ART ADMINISTRATION.
   The Department of Planning and Development shall administer public art projects with the Public Art Advisory Board. Responsibilities shall include, among others, the following:
   (a)   Preparing and adopting guidelines, rules and procedures necessary to implement public art;
   (b)   Developing and updating a City-wide public art map identifying public art opportunities within the City of Lakewood;
   (c)   Advising on request for qualifications and request for proposals and assisting in the process of selecting artists and artwork for each project;
   (d)   Producing and disseminating educational and promotional materials on public works of art;
   (e)   Establishing a schedule and standards of maintenance of public art in consultation with the artists; and
   (f)   Providing written reports regarding the activities of the Public Art Advisory Board to the Mayor and City Council not less than once per calendar year.
