1323.08 NOTICE OF REVOCATION.
   In the event the application for a certificate is not approved, or in the event any certificate issued under this chapter is revoked, the applicant shall be notified of the refusal or revocation in writing and such notice shall be sent by certified mail to the applicant at the address of the applicant as set forth in the application for a certificate. The applicant shall have ten days after receipt of such notice to appeal such refusal or revocation. Such appeal shall be perfected by filing a written notice of the appeal with the Director of Public Safety. Thereupon, the applicant shall have not less than ten days notice of the date and place of the hearing. The appeal shall be heard by the Board of Building Standards and Building Appeals, which Board shall have the power after such hearing to either affirm or overrule the decision of the Commissioner. The Board shall cause notice of its decision to be sent by certified mail to the applicant at the address of the applicant as set forth in the application within thirty days of the date of hearing.
