(a) "House", as used in this chapter, means any dwelling house, business block or building used for any legitimate purpose. "Street" means and includes any street, avenue, lane, alley, public place or highway. (Ord. 1051. Passed 8-24-14.)
(b) All buildings in the City shall be numbered by the owner or his agent, in conformity with the provisions of this chapter, figures four inches in height, painted or inscribed on backing which is of a color of contrast, or other suitable plates or numbers selected by the owner or lessee, so as to allow the identification of the residence from the curb or endline of the property.
