1306.28 WATER HEATING FACILITIES.
    Every dwelling unit and occupiable structure when required by ordinance, shall have supplied water heating facilities which are installed in a proper and approved manner, are maintained in a safe and good working condition, are properly connected to the hot water lines required by this Code and are capable of heating water to such temperature as to permit an adequate amount of water to be drawn at every kitchen sink, lavatory basin, at a temperature of not less than 110 degrees (110°) at the shower and bathtub. Temperatures are not to exceed 120 degrees (120°) Fahrenheit at the shower and bathtub if able to be adjusted within the fixture valve, and 140 degrees (140°) Fahrenheit under normal use. Such supplied water heating facilities shall be capable of meeting the requirements of this section when the dwelling, dwelling unit or occupiable structure heating facilities are not in operation.
