Every habitable room of a dwelling shall contain at least two separate electric convenience outlets, or one such convenience outlet and one supplied electric light fixture. Every water closet compartment, bathroom, laundry room, furnace rom and public hall shall contain at least one supplied ceiling or wall-type electric light fixture and one electrical convenience outlet. Every dwelling and occupiable structure provided with electrical service, outlets and fixtures shall be installed and maintained so as to be free of any potential source of ignition of combustible material or any potential source of electrical hazard. Such facilities shall be approved as being adequate to supply the requirements of lighting, appliances and equipment of the dwelling or occupiable structure. (Ord. 68-97. Passed 4-20-1998.)
