(a) No person, firm or corporation shall use or operate any gas, gasoline or other explosive engine in the City, unless the same is equipped with a muffler or other device which will prevent the emission of any objectionable smoke or odor and will prevent the noise occasioned by the explosion of the gas, gasoline or other explosive used to operate such engine.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
