381.26 BACKFIRE ARRESTING DEVICE REQUIRED.
   Carburetors on all engines of powercraft other than those propelled by a detachable outboard motor shall be fitted with a Coast Guard approved backfire flame arrestor securely attached to the carburetor and in proper working order. (ORC 1547.28)
