(a) The Director of Finance be and hereby is authorized to enter into contracts for sale or lease of space and/or rights for advertising or sponsorship, in, on and around certain properties owned by the City, said advertising or sponsorship to be sold at fair market rates.
(b) Any revenues derived from the sale of advertising or sponsorship at Winterhurst Ice Rink be kept and maintained in the Winterhurst Ice Rink Enterprise Fund.
(c) Any revenues derived from the sale of advertising or sponsorship at other buildings or locations in the City be credited to the General Fund.
(d) All advertising or sponsorship be sold by the City at fair market rates.
(e) Council hereby grants its approval for contracts for the sale of advertising not in excess of seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500) and/or for a term not to exceed three (3) years.
(f) Any advertising that is a “sign” as defined in Section 1329.03 shall be subject to review by the Board of Building Standards and Building Appeals/Architectural Board of Review/
Sign Review.
