Any person who shall do or commit any act that is forbidden by the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $1,000 or imprisonment for a period not to exceed 90 days, or both. In addition, violations shall be reported to the Gambling Control Board and recommendation shall be made for suspension, revocation or cancellation of an organization’s license.
