(A) There is established a Youth Commission consisting of ten members to be appointed by the Village President with the advice and consent of the Board of Trustees. The membership shall be composed of individuals who are interested in participating in the governance of the village.
(B) The term of office of each member shall be for two years until his or her successor shall qualify and be appointed.
(C) The persons appointed to the Commission shall be residents of the village who are enrolled in school in Grades 7-12. When the residence or school enrollment requirements are no longer met, the members shall be deemed to have resigned from the Commission.
