It shall be the duty of the Traffic, Safety and Engineering Committee to coordinate traffic safety activities; to carry on educational activities in traffic safety matters; to receive complaints having to do with traffic safety matters; to consider matters referred to it by the Board of Trustees and to make recommendations thereon; to recommend to the President and Board of Trustees and to the Police Department and other village officials ways for improving traffic safety conditions and the administration and enforcement of traffic safety regulations; and to undertake any other matter or project relating to traffic safety referred to or assigned it by the Board of Trustees from time to time.
