(A) Each applicant for a vehicle license who operates a motor vehicle other than a motorcycle, motor-driven cycle or a pedalcycle, as defined in the Illinois Vehicle Code, shall, upon payment of the fee, be given a window sticker which shall be fastened in a prominent and visible place on the lower right-hand portion of the front windshield of the vehicle at all times that it is operated in the village.
(B) Each applicant for a vehicle license for a motorcycle, motor-driven cycle or motorized pedalcycle, as defined in the Illinois Vehicle Code, shall, upon payment of the fee, be given a metal tag which shall be securely affixed to the rear license plate and clearly visible at all times the vehicle is operated in the village.
