§ 151.07 POWERS AND DUTIES.
   The Commission shall have the powers and duties as follows:
   (A)   To prepare and recommend to the President and Board of Trustees a comprehensive plan, looking to the present and future development of the village, which plan, after its adoption by the President and Board of Trustees of the village, shall be known as the “Official Plan of the Village of La Grange Park.” The Commission may thereafter from time to time recommend any changes of the official plan. The plan shall include reasonable requirements in reference to streets, alleys and public grounds in unsubdivided lands, within the corporate limits and in contiguous territory outside of and distant not more than one and one-half miles from the limits of the village and not included in any city, village or incorporated town. The requirements are to be effective whenever the lands shall be subdivided after the adoption of the plan.
   (B)   To prepare and recommend to the President and Board of Trustees from time to time plans for specific improvements in pursuance of the official plan.
   (C)   To give aid to the President and Board of Trustees of the village in the development and completion of projects embraced within the official plan to further the making of the improvements and generally to promote the realization of the official plan.
   (D)   To perform such duties of a plan commission as authorized by Division 12 of the Illinois Municipal Code (ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, §§ 11-12-1 et seq.) and such duties of a zoning board of appeals as authorized by Division 13 of the Illinois Municipal Code (ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, §§ 11-13-1 et seq.).
   (E)   To hear and make final decisions on appeals of any zoning interpretation made by the village in regard to the Zoning Code.
   (F)   To make recommendations to the Village Board on zoning map and text amendment application.
   (G)   To make recommendations to the Village Board on applications for variations.
   (H)   To make recommendations to the Village Board on special use applications.
   (I)   To review and make final decisions on site plan reviews.
   (J)   To make recommendations to the Village Board on planned unit development applications.
   (K)   To hear and report to the Village Board on such other matters as may be referred to it by the Village Board.
