§ 90.19 ANIMAL BITES; RABIES CONTROL.
   (A)   Whenever any domesticated animal has bitten a person, it shall be confined in such place as Animal Control may direct and for such period of observation as may be necessary.
   (B)   Whenever a wild animal has bitten a person, it shall be killed, avoiding damage to the head (brain area) and provided for testing as directed by Animal Control or as directed by the Police Department.
   (C)   It shall be the duty of every owner of an animal which has bitten a person to immediately surrender the animal to Animal Control or as directed by the Police Department.
