(A) No person shall uncover, make any connections with, or opening into, alter or disturb any public sewer or appurtenance thereof without first obtaining a written permit from the Sewer Superintendent. An application for a permit shall be submitted in writing to the City Clerk.
(B) In every case of a proposed sewer connection, notice shall be given to the Sewer Superintendent, specifying the time and place where the work is to commence. Such shall be in writing and given at least one full day prior to the commencement of the work.
