Any person convicted of a violation of any section or provision of this code, where no other penalty is set forth, shall be punished by a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), or by imprisonment not to exceed six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment for each offense 1 ; or by a fine not to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00) with no imprisonment, when the offense is designated as infraction by state law or by any section or provision of this code 2 .
