3-1-14-2: OVER-SIZED LOAD CARRIERS:
   A.   Application: An application for over-sized load carrier's license shall describe the present location and the future site of the building or structure to be moved.
   B.   Bond: The applicant shall post with the City Clerk a corporate surety bond in the sum of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00). The bond shall guarantee the licensee's payment for any damage done to the City or to the public property in the course of moving the building or structure.
   C.   Insurance: The applicant shall show evidence that he/she is insured for not less than three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000.00) for personal injuries and one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) for property damage. A corporate surety bond for the same sum of money may be posted with the City Clerk in lieu of the insurance policy. The sureties on the bond shall be approved by the City Clerk and the bond shall guarantee the licensee's payment for personal injury or property damage caused by the licensee or the licensee's agents or employees in the course of the moving operations.    D.   File Route Plan: The applicant shall file with the City Clerk a route plan approved by the Chief of Police. (1983 Code § 6-3-14; 1996 Code)
   E.   Flagmen Required: At all times when the load is in motion or at rest on any street, alley, sidewalk or public property, the licensee shall maintain flagmen at the closest intersections or other possible channels of traffic to the sides, behind and ahead of the load. (1983 Code § 6-3-14)
