§ 90.39 DOG BITING.
   (A)   Reporting animal bites. It shall be the duty of every physician or other medical practitioner, owner of dog involved, and/or victim to report to the Animal Warden or his authorized representative the names and addresses of persons treated for bites inflicted by dogs, together with such other information as is pertinent to rabies control. It shall be the duty of any person having any knowledge of a dog bite incident to notify the Animal Warden of said incident and to provide such information upon request of the Animal Warden or any officer as is pertinent to rabies control.
   (B)   Confinement. Any dog that bites a person shall be confined by the owner in and at a place designated by the Animal Warden or his duly authorized representative in such a way as to prohibit such dog to come into contact with another animal or person and/or from escaping, at the owner's expense. Said dog shall be confined ten days from the date of the dog bite incident and/or until such time as a veterinarian has authorized in writing its release or non-confinement.
