§ 113.04 INSPECTION AND ANALYSIS OF MACHINES AND TOBACCO AND ALTERNATIVE NICOTINE PRODUCTS.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police, and he is hereby authorized and empowered, to inspect and examine all places where cigars, cigarettes and tobacco, or alternative nicotine product, are licensed to be sold for the purpose of ascertaining whether the laws of the state and of the city in relation to the same are being complied with at such place, and he is further authorized and empowered from time to time to inspect and examine all cigars, cigarettes and tobacco or alternative nicotine product being sold or offered for sale for the purpose of ascertaining whether the laws of the state and of the city are being complied with, and it shall be his further duty to cause all such laws and provisions of this code to be enforced.
   (B)   It shall be the duty of all persons or corporations licensed to sell cigars, cigarettes or tobacco or alternative nicotine product upon the demand of the Chief of Police to furnish him for his inspection samples of all cigars, cigarettes and tobacco or alternative nicotine product, sold or offered for sale, which samples of cigars, cigarettes and tobacco or alternative nicotine product shall be analyzed by or under the direction of said Chief of Police and a record of such analysis shall be made and kept in his office for the inspection of the public.
