The City Council, by a majority vote, shall have the right to revoke any license issued under this subchapter in the event that any theater violates this or any other provision of this code or any of the laws of the state; provided, that such violation is continued or repeated after written notice thereof has been served by the city upon the manager or other person in charge of the theater in question.
