(A) Application for a license to own a coin-operated amusement device shall be made to the office of the City Clerk upon a form to be provided by such office, and shall be accompanied by a fee of $25 to be paid in advance at the time of issuance of the license. Upon receipt of such application in proper form, the Clerk shall provide, at the expense of the city, a proper license sticker, which shall be attached to the amusement device. the removal of any such sticker except by proper authority, shall be a violation of this subchapter.
(B) The Clerk shall have authority to issue upon written application, amusement licenses which shall be effective for one fiscal year. All such licenses shall be dated May 1 of the year for which such licenses are issued.
