(A) The following fees shall be paid for the sale of lots, mausoleum spaces, and the servicing of graves, cremations, crypts, and related activities.
(1) Spaces sold on or after October 1, 2020: 10% rounded to the nearest $5 of the total lot sale price will be applied to the Perpetual Care Fund.
(2) Spaces sold prior to October 1, 2020: 50% of the total lot sale price will be applied to the Perpetual Care Fund.

(B) When the ground is frozen, and non-standard digging methods and/or equipment are required, an additional charge shall be collected as specified in the table above.
(C) If a burial space or spaces are conveyed or transferred from one party to another, a $20 transfer fee for each quit claim deed that is processed must be paid to the City Clerk. In addition, if a perpetual care fee has not been paid for any burial space, crypt, or niche that is transferred, such fee must be paid before the City will approve the transfer.
(D) Price of filling lots. The charge to be made for filling of lots shall be the prevailing cost of material and labor. An itemized bill will be provided.
(E) The fees for burials and entombments, shown in the table above, are based on the work required to be performed in advance of the burial or entombment, (that is digging the grave or opening the crypt or niche), being carried out during normal working hours. If scheduling of the funeral is such that it compels the advance work to be done at a time other than during normal working hours for the cemetery employees, then the fee shown under the Miscellaneous heading for preparatory work being done outside of normal working hours shall apply in addition to any other fees incurred.
(F) The fees for disinterments or unentombings shown in the table above cover only the work performed to carry out the disinterment or unentombing. Any burial or entombing of the moved body or remains in another location in Kewanee's Cemeteries will result in the payment of the fees associated with said burial or entombing in addition to the disinterment fees shown under Miscellaneous in the table above.
(G) Perpetual Care funds shall be turned over to the Cemetery Board of Managers to be invested by them according to law.
(H) Monuments are allowed only in the following locations:
Kewanee Cemetery
Pleasant View Cemetery blocks One through Nine
South Pleasant View Cemetery blocks Ten through Twenty-five, and block Thirty-one
Russian Cemetery
Wethersfield Cemetery.
