There are hereby established and made available upon payment of a fee in the amount set forth in the Annual Fee Ordinance, daily parking permits which, when such permit is properly displayed on a motor vehicle being used in connection with construction projects located in the village, or for special circumstances approved in advance by the Village Manager or his or her designee, shall allow the motor vehicle to occupy any automobile parking space for which parking is otherwise limited pursuant to this code. Parking permits issued pursuant to this § 72.22: (a) may only be purchased by the general contractor for an active construction project in the village, or by a person authorized in advance by the Village Manager or his or her designee; and (b) may only be used for parking on the date, and in the location, specified in the permit. No vehicle displaying a permit issued pursuant to this § 72.22 may occupy a parking space for which parking is prohibited pursuant to this code.
