(A) When the tentative plat is satisfactory to the Plan Commission, it shall approve the same by motion and the following legend shall be affixed to both copies of the plat:
The general plan of the subdivision shown on this plat has received the tentative approval of the Plan Commission of the Village of Kenilworth, and the Commission is ready to receive a final plat for consideration.

(B) One copy of the tentative plat shall thereupon be returned to the subdivider and the second copy shall be retained by the Plan Commission.
