Within six months after the end of each fiscal year, the Village Treasurer shall prepare and file with the Village Clerk an account of all monies received and expenditures incurred during the fiscal year just ended, as prescribed by state law. A copy of the annual account of the Village Treasurer shall also be filed with the County Collector of Taxes who collects taxes levied by the Village, together with an affidavit of the Village Clerk certifying its publication as required by law and its correctness.
