§ 150.01  NEW CONSTRUCTION AND ADDITIONS; INSULATION INSPECTION.
   The owners of each new building, dwelling house or additions thereto shall be required to apply at the Town Hall to have their construction inspected with regards to being properly insulated according to the General Statutes.

§ 150.02  TOWN INSULATION INSPECTOR; DUTIES AND AUTHORITY.
   The town shall designate some qualified employee or person to act as the town’s Insulation Inspector with the following duties and authority:
   (A)   To inspect each new building, dwelling house or addition thereto during construction to determine if the insulation is installed as required by the General Statutes;
   (B)   If the Insulation Inspector finds that the construction is not properly insulated, he or she has the authority to stop all construction until it has been properly insulated according to his or her instructions; and
   (C)   If the Insulation Inspector finds the construction properly insulated, then he or she shall submit his or her approval in writing to the owner.

§ 150.03  INSPECTION FEE.
   There shall be an insulation inspection fee of $15 for each insulation inspection.

§ 150.04  EFFECTIVE DATE.
   This subchapter shall become effective as soon as a Town Insulation Inspector has been appointed by the town’s Board of Commissioners.
