The owner or lawful custodian of any dog impounded under the provisions of this chapter may reclaim such dog within three (3) days after receiving personal notice or three (3) days after the mailing of notice or date of posting notices at city hall, provided, said dog shall be released to the owner or custodian only upon payment of the dog license fee, if unpaid, and all costs and charges incurred by the city for impounding and maintenance of said animal and maintaining its own facility. Charges as established by resolution of the city council will be paid to the Kamiah city clerk for impounding any dog. (Ord. 2020-01 §3, 2020; Ord. 98-14 §1, 1998)
