13.04.150: NONRESIDENT MUNICIPAL CORPORATION; NEGOTIATION OF WATER RATES:
Notwithstanding the other provisions of the ordinance relating to the sale of surplus water to nonresidents of the city of Kamiah, the city council reserves the right to negotiate freely water rates with nonresident municipal corporations, including water districts, as the council may determine is in the best interest for the city. Such water rates may, in the council's discretion, also reflect additional services rendered to any nonresident municipal corporation, such as, but not limited to, billing services, meter readings, and extraordinary costs of supplying water to such municipal corporation. Any negotiated water rate with any such municipal corporation shall be reflected in the minutes of the council, prior to the entry of a contract for water service to any such municipal corporation.
