The city clerk may summarily suspend or revoke a permit issued under this chapter for violation of any provision of this chapter; for violation by the applicant of any federal, state or local laws or ordinances during the parade; for a violation of the conditions of the permit; or for making any material false representation in an application for a permit. In deciding whether to suspend or revoke a permit, the city clerk may consult with members of the city council. In the event of a suspension or revocation, the appeal provisions in subsection 9.38.050D of this chapter shall apply, commencing upon the date of the suspension or revocation notice.
