Sec. 10-7.  House Numbering:
   Each house in the village shall be designated by a house number, and such number shall be visible in the front thereof and be of such size and clarity as to be easily deciphered from the curb line of the street. A number shall be assigned to each house by the building commissioner as an extension of the numbering system in the city of Chicago. The owner of any house or building in the village who does not ascertain and post his house number in accordance with the provisions of this section shall be punishable by a fine not less than twenty five dollars ($25.00) and not to exceed seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00).
