§ 72.08 REGISTRATION.
   Golf carts, utility task vehicles, or other vehicles as described in the definition of “side by side” in § 72.01 shall be registered with the city on or before May 1 annually. The city incurs administrative costs in providing materials for the registration and for approved stickers to be placed upon the golf carts, utility task vehicles, or other vehicles as described in the definition of “side by side” in § 72.01 and in inspecting the vehicles. The administration/inspection fee of $25 is to be paid through the office of the City Clerk/Treasurer. Registration tags will be issued by the Clerk-Treasurers office during business hours after the city’s Police Department has completed a satisfactory inspection of the golf cart, utility task vehicle, or other vehicles as described in the definition of “side by side” in § 72.01 . The city allows Gas City registration to operate on city streets and alleys within the city without additional registration. All shall follow the rules within this subchapter.
