(a) Section 3301.2.4.3 Storage of fireworks: When a permit has been obtained for the purpose of having a special display of fireworks as provided for in this code, the fireworks may be purchased through a local dealer. However, the local dealer shall not have such fireworks stored on his or her premises within the City for longer than twenty-four hours before the same are delivered to the place where the display is to be held.
(b) Section 2703.2.4.3 Installation of gasoline tanks:
(1) Fiberglass gasoline tanks are permissible.
(2) The outside diameter of fiberglass tanks shall be:
a. 10,000 gallons - 7 feet 11 inches
b. 8,000 gallons - 7 feet 11 inches
c. 6,000 gallons - 7 feet 11 inches
d. 4,000 gallons - 7 feet 11 inches
e. 2,000 gallons - 6 feet 4 inches
f. 1,000 gallons - 4 feet 6 inches
g. 500 gallons - 4 feet 2 inches
(3) Total capacity shall not exceed 10,000 gallons per tank.
(4) Total capacity per station shall be limited to 40,000 gallons.
(5) All underground tanks shall be two feet apart.
(6) All tanks shall be mounted on a six-inch concrete base and securely anchored to this base.
(7) All tanks shall be placed at least four feet below the ground surface.
(8) Filling pipe must be outside of a building and at least five feet from any doorway or opening.
(9) No gasoline pump shall be placed within fifteen feet of a fire hydrant.
(10) Self-closing valves must be placed at the discharge point of the tank.
(11) No curb pump or discharge pipe shall be placed on or over any sidewalk.
(12) No gasoline pump or drawing-off device shall be placed on any frame building.
(13) All electric wiring must pass through approved conduits.
(14) Pumping dispensing flammable liquids must be located more than five feet from any building.
(15) Underground tanks shall be surrounded by washed pea gravel-type material. If not available, washed stone crushings 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch in diameter must be used.
(16) Vent pipes must be not less than 1-1/4 inches inside diameter, shall not terminate within three feet of any door or window to a building and shall be twelve feet above the surface, securely anchored to a post or building. All vent pipes must be protected from physical damage.
(17) Before tanks are covered, they must be hydrostatically tested. Air pressure tested to five psi on fiberglass tanks of twelve feet in diameter. Pressure shall be maintained for at least thirty minutes.
(18) Fill tubes and piping may be of fiberglass reinforced plastic.
(19) Means of fire extinguishment must be available on premises where flammable substances are handled. "No smoking" signs shall be posted on driveways and in areas used for fueling motor vehicles.
(20) Abandoned tanks shall be removed.
(21) The fire official shall be present for inspections of concrete pads, tanks and anchoring and for testing of tanks.
(c) Section 3803.3.4 Liquid petroleum gas storage: All installations shall be completely fenced with fences not less than six feet in height.
