No person shall violate any of the provisions of this chapter, or fail to comply with any of the requirements thereof, or violate or fail to comply with an approved plan or directive of the Codes Administrator or with a permit or certificate issued under this chapter. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to erect, construct, alter, repair, remove, demolish, or utilize an installation, or cause same to be done, in conflict with or in violation of any of the provision of this code.
