(a) There is hereby adopted by the City, in its entirety, for the purpose of establishing minimum requirements to safeguard the public health, safety and welfare, insofar as they are affected by the repair, alteration, change of occupancy, addition, and relocation of existing buildings, that certain code known as the International Existing Building Code, 2003 edition, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., save and except such provisions as are hereinafter deleted or amended.
(b) Not less than one copy of such Code is on file with the Assistant City Manager and the Assistant City Manager shall keep the same with the ordinance book of the City and make the same available for public use, inspection and examination.
