1042.11   SEPARATION OF STORM AND SANITARY SEWAGE REQUIRED.
   Storm and surface water and sanitary sewage on premises accessible to the storm water system and the sanitary public collection/interceptor system, now available or which may hereafter become available, shall be required to be separated and each shall be connected with the respective sewers.
   (a)   Storm water and sanitary sewage on all premises in the City accessible to a sanitary public collection/interceptor system but not to a storm sewer shall be separated and the sanitary sewage shall be connected to the sanitary public collection/interceptor system. The storm water shall be taken care of by natural drainage.
   (b)   On all premises accessible to a storm water sewer, but not to a sanitary public collection/interceptor system, storm water and sanitary sewage shall be separated with storm water connected to the storm water system and sanitary sewer connected to an approved on-lot sewage treatment system.
   (c)   All sanitary sewer drains within the City shall be watertight and properly connected only to the public collection/interceptor system. No sanitary sewer drain shall discharge raw sewage onto water, land or other surface.
