Unless the context clearly indicates a different meaning, as used in this chapter:
(a) "Park" includes all public parks having individual names.
(b) "Permit" means any permit, in writing, as issued by the Bureau of Parks, Department of Public Works.
(c) "Person" means any natural person, firm, association, partnership or corporation or his, her or its servants, agents or employees.
(d) "Public places" includes all grounds owned by the City.
(e) "Public street or highway" means any street, sidewalk or alley open to the public within right-of-way lines thereof.
(f) "Shade tree" means any tree, shrub or other woody plant in or upon any public street or highway in the City, or that part of any tree, shrub or other woody plant which extends within the lines of any public street or highway in the City.
