From and after the enactment of this chapter, it shall be unlawful for any person or persons, firm or corporation, managing or conducting a cabaret within the limits of the City, to put on or cause to be put on or given any floor show, dancing, singing, orchestral, phonographic or radio concerts or other exhibitions or forms of public entertainment, without first obtaining a license to do so from the City.
