Words and phrases used in this Traffic Code shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Vehicle Code of Pennsylvania (75 Pa. C.S. §§ 101 et seq.), as the same is now in force or hereafter amended, enacted or re-enacted, except in those instances where the context indicates a different meaning. As used in this Traffic Code, the word "street" shall have the same definition as the word "highway" in the Vehicle Code. References throughout this Traffic Code to the Vehicle Code shall mean the Vehicle Code of Pennsylvania, as aforesaid.
