Effective January 1, 2001, there is hereby established a flat fee of thirty dollars ($30.00) for responses to written and verbal inquiries made to the City concerning the status of real estate taxes and other taxes and fees imposed by City ordinance, when such information is requested and required for a real estate or business transaction. No fee is intended nor shall any fee be collected from a City taxpayer or customer making inquiry about the status of his or her account.
