A fee shall be established by ordinance of City Council and amended from time to time for responses to written and verbal inquiries made to the City concerning the status of real estate taxes and other taxes and fees imposed by City ordinance, when such information is requested and required for a real estate or business transaction. No fee is intended nor any fee be collected from a City taxpayer or customer making inquiry about the status of his or her account.
