206.11 BOUNDARIES OF STONYCREEK RIVER FROM SOMERSET AND CAMBRIA RAILROAD BRIDGE TO VALLEY PIKE BRIDGE.
   The Stonycreek River from the center of the abutment of the Somerset and Cambria Railroad Bridge connecting the Seventh and Eighth Wards of the City, southward and up the stream to the center of the abutment of the Valley Pike Bridge at Central Avenue, within the limits of the City, is hereby declared to be a public highway and watercourse. The width thereof shall be 225 feet at the bottom of the channel, and the boundary lines at the bottom of the channel shall be as follows:
   The boundary line of the right bank shall begin at a point twelve and one-half feet southward from the center of the river face of the north abutment of the Somerset and Cambria Railroad Bridge connecting the Seventh and Eighth Wards; thence up the stream by a curve to the left, radius, 1,662 feet through an arc of fifty-two degrees and twelve minutes, chord length 1,462.36 feet, to a point; thence by a curve to the right, radius, 646.27 feet through an arc of eighty-seven degrees and eight minutes, chord length 890.82 feet, to a point; thence by a curve to the right, radius, 10,743.3 feet through an arc of one degree and thirty-six minutes, chord length 300 feet, to a point; thence by a curve to the right, radius 600.36 feet through an arc of ninety-six degrees and one minute, chord length 892.4 feet, to a point; thence south eighty-seven degrees and thirty-three minutes west 600.68 feet to a point, sixty-five feet northward from the center of the river face of the south abutment of the Valley Pike Bridge at Central Avenue.
   The left boundary line shall be distant 225 feet at the bottom of the river from the herein established right boundary line and parallel thereto.
   The slope outward of the bank or margin of the stream from the bottom line on each side shall be one and one-half feet for each foot of rise. However, when river retaining walls are built, either by the City or by property owners, to protect the land and form the bank, the same may be built with a batter of not less than one-half inch to the foot. Such walls shall be built under the direction of the City Engineer.
   A map or plan of the Stonycreek River as herein bounded and described remains in the office of the City Engineer and a duplicate copy thereof is filed with the City Clerk.
