206.07 BOUNDARIES OF LITTLE CONEMAUGH RIVER FROM RAILROAD BRIDGE OF CAMBRIA IRON COMPANY EAST TO CITY LINE.
The Little Conemaugh River is hereby declared to be a public highway and watercourse within the City. The width thereof shall be 125 feet between the bottom of the banks from the point where the railroad bridge of the Cambria Iron Company crosses the stream east of Walnut Street and following the course of such stream easterly to a point where it would intersect with the City line. The boundary description of the left side of the Little Conemaugh River from the point of such Cambria Iron Company's bridge and the northeastward point to the City line is hereby defined as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of the right abutment of such bridge; thence up the stream south eighty-four degrees and fifty-seven minutes east parallel with the present stone wall along the opposite side 182 feet to a point; thence south seventy-nine degrees thirty-three minutes east 500 feet to a point; thence by a curve to the left, radius, 2,893 feet, arc length, 199.4 feet, to a point; thence south eighty-three degrees thirty minutes east 428 feet to a point; thence by a curve to the left, radius, 1,288 feet, arc length, 288.1 feet, to a point; thence continuing curve to the left, radius, 2,820 feet, arc length, 1,256.7 feet, to a point; thence by a curve to the right, radius, 1,183.5 feet, arc length, 412.9 feet, to a point; thence north eighty degrees forty-nine minutes east parallel with the present stone wall along the opposite side, 685 feet to a point opposite the upper angle of masonry of the old Woodvale Bridge abutment and 125 feet distant therefrom; thence by a curve to the left, radius, 1,525 feet, arc length, 331.3 feet, to a point; thence continuing curve to the left, radius, 2,055 feet, arc length, 511.7 feet, to a point; thence north fifty-four degrees and six minutes east 768 feet to a point; thence by a curve to the right, radius, 585 feet, arc length, 249.3 feet, to a point; thence north seventy-eight degrees and thirty-one minutes 759 feet to a point; thence by a curve to the left, radius, 595 feet, arc length, 473.7 feet, to a point; thence north thirty-two degrees fifty-four minutes east 1,666 feet to a point; thence by a curve to the right, radius, 2,268 feet, arc length, 455 feet, to a point, where it would intersect with the City line.
The right side line of such stream shall begin at the southeasterly abutment of the Cambria Iron Company's railroad bridge and on the alignment of the stone wall, thence up the stream by lines parallel to the limits of the left side as above described, and 125 feet distant at right angles therefrom, to an intersection with the City line.
A map or plan of the Little Conemaugh River, from the bridge to the City line as herein described, remains in the office of the City Engineer.
