204.02 IDENTIFICATION OF CITY VEHICLES.
   (a)   City Seal. City motorized equipment shall be affixed with the City Seal on the front doors of each vehicle, except for cars used for undercover law enforcement work. Such Seal shall be approximately ten inches to twelve inches in diameter.

   (b)   Other Identification.
      (1)   All City vehicles, except those used for undercover law enforcement, shall have placed on both front doors the identification "City of Johnstown, PA," and below it the identity of the particular bureau, i.e. "Highways, Traffic and Engineering," "Parks," etc.
      (2)   This identification shall be painted with the appropriate yellow automotive paint on both sides of each vehicle, so as to be readily and easily visible.
      (3)   Such identification shall be permanent and not able to be washed off or to wear off in normal use.
      (4)   Such identification is to be completed within thirty days of the effective date of this subsection (Ordinance 4386, passed March 26, 1986).
      (5)   The Director of Public Works shall see that each vehicle currently owned by the City, and all future vehicles purchased by the City, are so marked and identified.
