(a) The Mayor, elected to office in the general election held in November 1993, shall assume that office under the Charter on the first Monday of January in 1994.
(b) The four incumbent members of Council whose terms commenced in January 1992 shall continue to serve their full unexpired terms on Council after this Charter takes effect. Four Councilmembers shall be elected to four-year terms commencing the first Monday of January in 1994. Thereafter, all Council terms shall be four years in length.
(c) Any other officers of the Municipality elected by vote of the electors, or appointed to fill a vacancy in any such elected office, who shall have assumed office prior to January 1, 1994, shall hold such office until their respective terms shall expire, but their powers and duties, if any, shall be directed by the City Manager until and unless modified by the Administrative Code. Vacancies occurring on or after January 1, 1994, in any office that is not provided for as an elective office by this Charter shall not be filled.
