171.04 TEMPORARY MAYOR’S COURT MAGISTRATE.
   (a)   In the event of absence or disability of the Mayor’s Court Magistrate, the Mayor may appoint a temporary Mayor’s Court Magistrate to serve temporarily for a specific session of Mayor’s Court.
   (b)   The Mayor shall, with the concurrence of Council, prepare and maintain a list of persons qualified to act as Mayor’s Court Magistrates and who have indicated a willingness to serve as temporary Mayor’s Court Magistrate from which to make appointment of temporary magistrates.
   (c)   A temporary Mayor’s Court Magistrate shall receive as compensation for his/her services the sum of three hundred dollars ($300.00) per session, on a contractual basis, and shall not be entitled to further compensation or benefit from the Village.
