All full-time members of the Police Department shall be entitled to such clothing as is reasonably necessary to provide day-to-day uniforms. The need of each officer shall be determined by the Chief of Police and reported to Council as necessity arises. Upon the submission of a report by the Chief of Police, uniforms shall be purchased subject to the advice and consent of Council.
