Any person may, upon written request to the Clerk-Treasurer, obtain advance notification of all meetings at which any specific type of business is to be discussed.
The request shall specify the type of public business for which advance notification is requested, the name, address and telephone number at which such person may be reached at any hour, and be accompanied by a fee of two dollars ($2.00) for each month or part thereof remaining in the calendar year in which the request is made.
In the event the specific type of business for which advance notification is requested is to be discussed at a regularly scheduled meeting, the notification to the person requesting same may be made in person or by telephone, at any time or by mailing a copy of the agenda for such meeting to such person in the envelope provided by such person at least three days in advance of such meeting.
In the event the specific type of business for which advance notification is requested is to be discussed at a special meeting, then the person or persons calling such meeting shall notify the person requesting advance notification in person or by telephone, or by mailing a copy of the agenda for such meeting to such person in the envelope provided by such person at least three days in advance of such meeting.
