925.15 SERVICE CONNECTIONS.
Where a connection is made to a sanitary sewer at a manhole connection not previously provided for, it shall be made in the floor of the manhole with a smooth channel or pipe constructed to the sewer according to the directions of the Director of Utilities. Where a service connection is constructed for a building that is presently discharging sewage into a septic tank or cesspool, the new service connection shall be tapped into the existing service connection with fittings specified in these regulations, and at some point between the building and the septic tank or cesspool. Care shall be taken to insure a tight joint at the connection between the new and existing service connection.
