The County Board or designee shall have the authority to join with other unit(s) of government in cooperative purchasing plans when the best interests of the County would be served thereby. Participation in such cooperative purchasing plans shall supersede the need for formal and open market purchasing procedures contained in this chapter. (Ord. 2011-4, 5-10-2011)
