9-1-4: SITUATIONS WHEN SURVEY AND PLAT NOT REQUIRED:
A survey and plat are not required for the following in order to be in compliance with this title:
   A.   The sale or exchange of parcels of land between owners of adjoining and contiguous land.
   B.   The conveyance of parcels of land or interest therein for use as a right of way for railroads or other public utility facilities and other pipelines which does not involve any new streets or easements of access.
   C.   The conveyance of land for highways by a railroad or other public utility which does not involve any new streets or easements of access.
   D.   The conveyance of land for highways or other public purposes, or grants of conveyances relating to the dedication of land for public use, or instruments relating to the vacation of land impressed with the public use.
   E.   Conveyances made to correct discrepancies in prior conveyances.
   F.   The sale or exchange of parcels or tracts of land following the division into no more than two (2) parts of a particular parcel or tract of land existing on July 17, 1959, and not involving any new streets or easements of access. (Amended Ord., 9-1991)
   G.   The division or subdivision of land into parcels or tracts of five (5) acres or more in size which does not involve any new streets or easements of access. (Amended Ord., 9-1991; amd. per correspondence dated 8-21-2013)
   H.   The sale is of a single lot less than five (5) acres from a larger tract, the dimensions and configurations of said larger tract on October 1, 1973, and no sale, prior to this sale, of any lot or lots from said larger tract having taken place since October 1, 1973, and a survey of said single lot having been made by a registered land surveyor.
   I.   The sale is of a single lot of less than twenty (20) acres from a larger tract, the dimensions and configurations of said larger tract on October 1, 1973, and no sale, prior to this sale, of any lot or lots from said larger tract having taken place since October 1, 1973, and a survey of said single lot having been made by a registered land surveyor.
   J.   The sale or exchange of parcels or tracts of land following the division of land recorded prior to February 8, 1994. Also, the sale or exchange of parcels or tracts of land on installment contracts initiated prior to February 8, 1994. (Amended Ord., 9-1991)
