A. The Chairperson of the County Board with the advice and consent of the County Board shall designate an Ethics Advisor for Jo Daviess County. The duties of the Ethics Advisor may be delegated to an officer or employee of Jo Daviess County unless the position has been created as an office by Jo Daviess County.
B. The Ethics Advisor shall provide guidance to the officers and employees of Jo Daviess County concerning the interpretation of and compliance with the provisions of this chapter and State Ethics Laws. The Ethics Advisor shall perform such other duties as may be delegated by the County Board. (Ord. 2018-2, 1-9-2018)
